The Indy Grace Place Difference
Critical Preparation
With the reality that individuals reentering society from prison have a 42% failure rate, Indy Grace Place provides a crucial training ground for previously incarcerated men to successfully reintegrate into society.
Positive Change
Indy Grace Place is a significant stop on each resident’s journey of faith and reentry. We desire to influence real heart change through biblically-based programming that, through the power of the Gospel, can transform a felon into a safe individual who actively contributes to the community.
Security & Stability
We help reentering men find stability in a home-like atmosphere. Our residential house has been embraced by others in the neighborhood because of our commitment to security and community involvement. Our participants are not isolated but live in community with each other and their program director.
Hands-on work
Our staff and volunteers are not timid when it comes to walking with our residents and their POs through all of the ups and downs of their reentry journey. Our willingness to consider any ex-offender regardless of conviction type ensures we are offering everyone a fair shot at their second chance.
Requirements
Indy Grace Place can hold up to four residents at a time with an expected length of stay from six to 18 months.
To qualify, resident applicants must:
Have been recently released from incarceration (within the past month, preferably).
Desire to live a godly life and be a productive citizen in society.
Be a male of at least 18 years of age.
Be willing to participate in all of the program requirements.
Partners
Our community partners are integral in providing the resources we need to assist those walking out reentry through our program.
